When to use Digital Heads Cleaner? at DVinfo.net

I heard your supposed to use it before a full day of shooting. Is this true? Or do you only use when needed?

Who told you that? ONLY clean the heads when you have to! The cleaning tape is like fine sandpaper. Too much cleaning will wear them down to nothing. Replacing heads ain't cheap!
