XL2 same feel as Xl1?

I have a Xl1 now. I'm hopeing to get a xl2 soon. Before I do I plan on getting some sort of shoulder suport system. Is the xl2 the same size and weight as the xl1 did they do anything to help the front heavy design of the xl1. I really love my xl1 and want to only buy stuff that will work with both.

The XL2 is heavier than the XL1, but the front-heavy problem can be fixed if you mount a CH-910 dual battery system on the back - it makes it perfectly balanced and it's a great camera.

The CH-910 is great. With 2 BP-945's I can go close to 9 hours of camera time. (that's without an attached monitor or light drawing camera power, of course)
If you do go the BP-945 route, be sure extend the viewfinder out and back, Or... you can install it off-center like I did. Otherwise you will be conking your head on the battery.
