Newbie with Canon XL2

Hi everyone, i'm a proud owner of a new Canon XL2. I was wondering if anyone can give me a few pointers or suggestions on what type of tripod system that I can use. Also for lighting and wireless mic. Something that's not so expensive as i just getting started. Something that's decent for a beginner and works. Thank you in advance.

Hi Mike
I know a few people will disagree with me but i have been using a LIBEC TH-950 not the most expensive tripod in the world, however it has a balance helper which is really important with the front heavy XL2, I use this for shooting weddings as its also quite light, a nice balance between stability and weight/Price....
