XL1 Case
Having had a look at the size difference between the Xl1 and the XL2 I can't work out whether or not an Xl2 would fit into a Canon hard case designed for the XL1 (the 3500) does anyone have any experience as to whether or not it will?... thanks a lot (I'm desperatly trying to find the cheapest case I can)

Hey Louis I just got my Pelican 1610 today and it fits the cam and lenses perfect. You will have to cut the foam yourself but it's no biggie, I have also heard alot of people use the Pelican 1620. It is an awesome buy for only $150. Good Luck. http://www.all-pelican-cases-4-less....ican_1610.html

Do you know if the 1610 will fit in an "airline overhead"?
