XL2/GL1 with Firestore FS-4 at DVinfo.net

I am wondering which of the QT settings I should use for the cameras.
I shot with my XL2 on 30P 16:9
On the GL1 I am on frmae mode 16:9 setting

with that said, what is the difference on the Firestore between QT and QT 24P, neither camera shots "real" 24P, should I just stick with the plain QT setting?

so I know in the past I have noticed that the Canon cameras sometimes lose sync withe audio/video when capturing over 10 minutes, is this corrected by using a firestore?
