Nikon SLR lens adaptor for XL2?

I'm considering purchasing an XL2 soon. Instead of getting the 3X wide angle I'd like to use my ultra-sharp Nikon SLR lens collection. Does anyone know if there is an adaptor available to fit Nikon SLR lenses to an XL2? Thanks!

Quick answer--------it won't work!

When you attach slr lenses with an adaptor you get a magnification factor of about 7.2. So a 100mm lens would be 720mm.

Get the 3x, it is great.

Only way to fully use a Nikon lens is with a spinning GG adapter. Designed for 35mm DOF on minidv

Have one myself, check out the post below!
