Just bought the XL2... Question???

Anyone have any tips??? I'm coming off 5 years of using the xl1 and xl1s, are there any habits I'm going to have to change? What am I going to have to get used to?

I was very happy when I went from the XL1 to the XL2. Only thing I was bothered by was the iris control going from a wheel to a dial thing but I got used to that very quickly. Other than that, I think you'll find the XL2 is a really fun camera. There are so many things you can do especially in terms of the looks you can get and the different frame rates.

PLay with the settings... the XL1s was overly poppy out of the box while the XL2 is very flat and milky out of the box (to get maximum detail out of the image). The Master Pedestal and setup level need to be turned down to match the XL1s look, as well as the sharpness and the color phase toward green...
