I have a 14x Manual Lens for my XL1S and i am curious if it will work on the XL2? Thank you. Have a nice day.

It works better...

With the improved XL2 viewfinder, you can focus the 14x to almost perfection. Critical focus still requires a field monitor ...

I never used the XL1/1s viewfinder (I've used an onboard monitor with it), I can't imagine how much worse it could be than the XL2's EVF. Say what you will, but for such an awesome DV25 camcorder, the XL2's achilles heel is it's viewfinder.

Actually, only the Sony cameras have an adequate LCD/viewwfinder. The XLH, HVX, XL2, etc. are all pretty bad...

Well, I guess that's why there is that awfully expensive FU-1000 that seems to blow the XL2 main fuse frequently.
