Pal, Ntsc Xl2
 

I recently aquired a canon xl2 on ebay, shipped from New York. Upon getting it, I realized quickly that the camera shipped to me was PAL, not NTSC. The seller will not return my calls.
The camera is basically brand new. I spoke to Canon and B & H and they are unable to trade for an NTSC. I'd rather not make the investments necessary to adequately convert PAL to NTSC.

Is there a solution that wouldn't invove re-selling?
What steps can I take from this point?

I'm sure you've explored this already but were you explicitly led to believe you were buying an NTSC cam? If so, you should be reporting it to eBay.
