Capturing two synced XL2's in Vegas

I recently did a small project with two canon xl2 cameras. I shot in 30P widescreen. I set both clocks with one remote in FREE RUN mode. They were synced nicely. Now, can someone tell me how to sync them together in VEGAS? Is there a particular trick or am I missing something. I had started and stopped many times with each camera. I feel that I still have to manually link each clip, I'm a little stumped. thanks. j

Sorry for the post in both xl2 and Vegas forums, but I wanted to get everyones suggestions. J

I guess what I am asking is do you have to manually align the frames or will vegas do it for you.
