Filmout short-film firewire or HD-SDI

Hi, I'm finishing my independant short film. I'm from Quebec, Canada and before going to Technicolor for a filmout 35mm I'd like to know if it's really best to capture all your clip in HD-SDI Uncompressed 10bit or it's the same thing than editing in HDV 24f and then exporting uncompressed for all the transition, color correction and titles.

Regards,

Guillaume Tremblay

Are you saying that you have already recorded the clips to tape (HDV) and want to capture them into the computer? Or have you not shot anything yet?

If it is the former, then you have already compressed it once so whether you go HD-SDI or firewire to the computer you are going to get the same image/information.
