Printing back to HDV Tape
Anybody printing back to tape on the H1?.
I created mpeg2 file in Vegas to print back to HDV tape, follow all setup instructions, but get 'check hdv/dv input' message and it won't record. I have set 'signal setup'-playback std to HDV and - downconvert off. However whenever firewire cable is in, the two are greyed out (unit won't go into record pause mode). Is there a trick to it (like the old downconvert), where you have to follow a certain path? Thanks.

But it still doesn't work. Same thing as soon as I input cable (or turn on camera with cable in), both the 'playback std' and 'HDV downconvert' are greyed out with --- behind them. BTW, Page 113, last paragraph, says when coming in from computer (HDV video input), set 'playback std' to HDV and 'HD Down-conv' OFF. I'm giving it up for now. Thanks again
