i can't seem to get this link to work, which is what ZGC has archived to the old store, and i can't find that the link exists elsewhere in the canon watchdog articles.

did it get moved? censored? help?

This was the american express commercial shot with Jerry Seinfeld. The used an extremely long lens for some of the desert shots, and a steadycam in the city. Any help?

Adam,
That's Charles Papert's documentary article on an American Express advertising shoot. Good stuff, eh?

We've temporarily taken this page down. We expect to have it back online sometime in the coming weeks.

It was good stuff. I was hoping to use a link to the page to demonstrate to a client the proliferation of this type of technology into 'mainstream' shoots. I'll keep my eyes peeled for when it pops back up, and just forward him to the other pertinent links i've found.

Thanks for the hard work, guys.

Why was it removed? Legal?

Alex,

The short story is that AmEx wanted a press moratorium on that piece until the ad actually airs. We respect that, and expect to have that excellent article from Charles back online in March. There'll be an announcement when it's available again. Hope this helps,
