Crawling lines for VHS copies
Is there a way to make VHS copies that don't have crawling lines? Are there profesional duplicators or some type of pre amp that I need to use to pre-master for duplication to avoid this. Or is this problem something that needs to be addressed dureing the shoot?
Thanks for the help!

You need a deck that has something called a flying erase head... consumer VCR's won't suffice. Professional duplicators will indeed avoid this problem. It's not something you can address during the shoot. Hope this helps,

Thanks for saving us time and frustration, and for "throwing a bone" to the newcomers in the community!! This page is great and so is Watchdog.
