WHat is the best way to go to get a fish eye under 1600? Any info is greatly appreiciated.

To my nolige the canon XL wide-angle lens has the same 72mm front filter thread as the standard XL 16X IS ll lens so it should fit

Actually they sell a seperate one for the 3X.
