The Adobe API call getFileVideoBounds(), used to tell us the size of the images, fails when is sees a double character--the "å" generates two byte characters in the Windows filesystem. This is not a quick fix, sorry.

Hi,
No worry - you have been more than helpful in figuring out how I can avoid the issue. Renaming a folder must have been the easiest way to fix a problem that caused a lot of headache. I also sent this URL to Jake who has been pitching in with ideas to "spread the work" about the solution. Thanks, Sverre |

Would this also be an issue wwith Japanese characters in file names etc?
