Neo HD to DVD workflow
Hi all, I'm sure this has been covered before so please point me if you could to an existing thread.
Q: If capturing HDV footage using Neo HD at 1920x1080 and the output format will be PAL DVD. What is the best route to MPEG2? Or what route do you take? ((Note: There are multiple tracks of video/audio with dissolves, stills, colour correction required throughout. 40 minute documentary)) * Option 1 - if PC can cope just render directly using Mainconcept MPEG2 * Option 2 - create an intermediate video file using cineform HD codec, then apply correction, add the audio, then render to MPEG2. In option 2 am i better off using cineform rather than Sony YUV or another codec? Many thanks for any help. Sherif |

Complete you project, with color and audio work, then render that to a CineForm AVI. If way you can preview all your work in the SD before tweaking MPEG2 settings. Then export that new AVI to MPEG2, fast and easy.
