I tried to resist for a full 8 hrs or so, but deep inside I knew I was just another powerless upgrade junkie. I was also motivated by the frustrating impression that my new quad system was not really giving me the performance improvement I was expecting- not just with CS3, but in general. My number one suspicion was that XP was somehow at fault. I haven't had much experience with SP3 yet, but it is a definite performance boost to the Quad system, and I haven't run across any problems so far. If I do, I will post on this forum. Specifically regarding Cineform: Aspect HD, HD Link, and my existing CS3 HD projects are all working as advertised. It is tempting!!! |

Do you know if it will improve Premiere pro 2 and Ae 7?
I just got Cineform Prospect and my computer is crashing all the time. I have a Intel Core 2 CPU 6400 @ 2.13 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. Can you guys recomend me a procesor that you think will be compatible with my mother board?, i got this MDG computer, and they dont give any info, just that is Upgradable and they charge like 10 $ for any question. Other thing, should i get more RAM, is it usable even if Windows XP only utilizes 2 GB? Thanks for your help guys... Herminio Last edited by Herminio Cordido; January 17th, 2008 at 12:52 PM. Does 50% faster rendering mean...
(a) render times cut in half, or (b) rendering speed increased by 50%? |
