aspect HD workflow to DVD

Ok, i dont seem to get my head around it, i've read a lot but cant figure it out!
Can somebody please explain to me what cineform's aspect HD excactly does
and if it will be something for me?

I'm filming weddings with the canon XH-a1 and the canon HV20.
I'm very happy with the results but I read a lot about how good aspect HD is.

Can I use aspect HD to get better image quality (in the final result ond dvd)
in the following workflow:

capture from camcorder with firewire from tape ->
edit in premiere pro CS3 (or after effects) ->
output with Encore CS3 to DVD or BLU-RAY.

I was just wondering:
1. How do you capture your HDV footage ie do you use Premiere's module or something like HDVSplit?
2. Do you have any trouble with After Effects accepting and editing the .m2t files you get from capturing from your camera?

I always thought AE would not handle the .m2t files (but I could be mistaken).

Anyway, I've been using a workflow I copied from others on this forum which involves batch capturing from my HV20 with the cineform capture module HDLink which automatically converts the files to .avi's which can be easily edited in Premiere and After Effects and then output from Premiere as an .avi and then imported into Encore CS3 and burned to either BluRay or SD folders.
This gives me what I think are good results so I'm happy.

I'm using the capture possibilities in premiere itself.

But I now started using cineforms aspect HD trial and i'm stunned.
This is great. I'm thinking of buying the proudct. It really boosts up my workflow
and the final image quality. I didnt expect to see so much of a change in the final image result
compared to my standard capture workflow.

There are a few flaws either in premiere or aspects HD or my pc setup (using vista 32bit).
Like a freezing premiere etc etc. But when i startup the program again it will work
most of the time.
