Deactivate or uninstall? at DVinfo.net

I've just installed CS3 and kept PP2 , I need to reinstall cineform for CS3 shall I deactivate it first or just uninstall?
If I do deactivate how long will it take to reactivate? I dont really want alot of down time but would like to start using CS3 while PP2 is still around to fall back on

Just uninstall then reinstall. Deactivation is only for moving a license to a new computer.
