capture sd in hd link or cineform in premier
I want to make a project with sd and hdv in premier. I am learning how to use cineform and am wondering if I can use hd link to capture sd from the camera. If not can I make the project a 1920x1080 24p cineform project and capture the sd in premier. I bought cineform to make things work better, but is this not the proper way? By making a 1920x 1080 project will that make the sd (720x480) look blown up? Thanks TAG

If you upconvert SD to 1920x 1080 it will look very "blown up" indeed. There are several software products available to minimize the problem of upscaling SD to HD. I don't know how well any of them work, but a direct conversion with HD Link will probably disappiont you.
IMO, if you are trying to seamlessly integrate a lot of SD with HD, you may get a better result by downscaling the HD and edit the entire project as SD.
