Prospect Slower Than Aspect?

Since upgrading to Prospect 3.4 with CS3, my transcoding on capture, and rendering to CFHD AVI times have increased dramatically over durations with Aspect.

Any similar experiences?

Are you choising to upscale to 1920x1080? Adding a scaler will be slower, otherwise the conversion path is the same.

Still in the 1440x1080i mode David.

It's weirdly slower, like by a factor of 3 or 4. So far as I can tell, everything is the same as when Aspect was running.

Are there any benchmark comparisons to be made between a movie output from Premiere in its HDV mode, as opposed the same footage captured and output with Prospect? At least that would help me isolate whether this is something to do with my Prospect installation, or if it is a global system issue.

Happy New Year to you.

I just converted a 1440x1080i M2T to CineForm AVI and 2.5X faster than real-time using Prospect HD, i.e. pretty fast. Now I'm on a nice PC but you conversion should be faster than real-time on a modern Core 2 Duo PC.
