Installed NeoHD demo - HDLink crashes (m2ts)

Installed NeoHD on a friends WinXP computer (just formatted and clean installs), we installed what is mentioned on here (Haali,CS3,AC3 etc):
AVCHD File Conversion

But a windows crash box appears each time we go to convert the file into an AVI, or MOV.

Without Haali installed, it just gives that graph error in the log box.
His computer is pretty much identical to my one too, and when I had the demo installed it worked like a dream (just can't in no way afford to purchase anything these days).
So we're a bit confused as to why this is happening.

Drivers are up-to-date, and so is the software he is using.

Any suggestions at all PLEASE !!!
?
Obviously as it's a timed demo, he's going to loose out on this and I can't quite think of what's causing the problem.

For reference, the version I had working without a problem was:

ProspectHD-3.8.6.188-Setup.exe

I know it's not exactly the same as NeoHD but obviously HDLink at it's core is the same.

If you haven't already done so, file a trouble ticket with Cineform at their web site.

Will, although I'll do it all under my address as friend has no connection, and isn't too hot on techy stuff.
