New Requirements prospecthd?
My system Dell Precision 690
2 dual Core Xeon 5140 2.33Ghz 2GB,DDR2 ECC SDRAM Memory 667Mhz Nvidia ,Quadro FX 3450 OS.Windows XP Pro. 32 bit sp3 On the new website of cineform there are new requirments that says you now need 3GB memory also as OS it looks like you need min Windows XP 64 bit, as for processors on the previous website my Xeon51XX was rated best performance but now on the website it doesnt show these no more. I currently have the Adobe creative suite 3 production premium I got the cs4 free as upgrade.I used to work with cineform aspect HD but now wants to go for the prospect HD that work with the CS4. 1) I need to upgrade memory I called with Dell and they ask 390usd for 4GB this looks expensive are there any other good brands of memory that will work good with the precision 690? 2)Do I need to use a new Windows?If so wich one? 3)Are my Xeon processors still for good performance with the prospect? Well in terms of buying Hardware, I wouldn't buy from dell as the premium you pay is a lot, especially for just RAM or something. Newegg.com - Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more! is where my friends from the states get it, and NCIX.com - Canada's Premier Computer Store - Great Technology, Service and Selection. for us Canadians.
