First Light (Windows Issues)

Well, installed prospect 4k on another computer tonight and on this one the
First Light exe will not load at all...

I get the " encountered a problem " msg....

I tried to unload the program and reload... same results

This is on Windows XP and the computer does have a Black Magic Intensity Pro ....

I have a similar problem but instead it says "application failed to initialized" or something like that.

Has anyone else encountered this?

The next build will install .NET 3.5 for you (if needed,) solving the main issue First Light will have. Also have UAC turned off.

Ray,

You can download .net framework 3.5 from Microsoft:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

if the Windows error message looks like the one in this thread:

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/cineform-...ml#post1145058

follow the same instructions in that thread.
