Requests for change of HDLink and P2 conversion!

Hello David

Is it possible for you to make a change in the HDlink import conversion for the P2 MXF files so that it split the audio in to 4 single mono files? Right now you get one stereo audio file in the AVI package (track 1 & 2) and one separate file outside of the AVI file (track 3 & 4). If I use Premiere’s P2 project to convert these P2 MXF files, it splits the two stereo files in to 4 mono tracks, just the way I like it.

I also would like to determine my own path to where I want to save the converted files (AVI); right now they are placed at the same directory as the default MXF files.

Best Regards
Mikael Bergstrom

You can choose the output path, set "Use Capture Location for converted files." We are unlikely to change the audio support in that way, not enough cameras/users will benefit.

The output path was the first I tried but this will not have any effect it won't work, if I set the path to a location I like it will still put the converted files (AVI) in the same directory as the MXF files?

To sad to here that the split won't workout:-(

Regards
Mikael

If something is not working, that is question for support. Set the check box and selecting the output path is working here.
