NeoScene Export from Premiere CS3? at DVinfo.net

When exorting from prem cs3 to cineform avi and doing the resize from HDV PAL 1440x1080i to 720x576 for PAL DVD as suggested in the cineform tech docs, is the cineform export codec deinterlacing the original file then resizing it or does it stay interlaced, if so when importing into encore to encode then what field order does one use, the default setting is lower field first for PAL DVD, yet the original hdv file I work with capture edit and export is upper field.

Or should I change the field order in encore manually to upper?

I guess that if the cineform export has deinterlaced then it wont matter right?
