CS4 build

Are we going to get a fully functional CS4 build any time soon?

Rumors abound: Late October- Premiere CS4.2; Win 7; and (whisper, whisper...) maybe a big CF update.
We'll see what happens ;-)

No whispering needed. Cineform publically said over a month ago that they are targeting realtime engine release for around 6 Nov 2009:

A question in the back of my mind that I haven't asked the Cineform guys, but will do now that I'm thinking about it:

Is the RT engine tied to and/or dependent upon this recently announced Adobe 4.2 update, also due out about the same time, in any way?

Adobe hasn't said a bunch about the details of the 4.2 update but has put out some limited verbiage about additional 3rd party support. Just wondered if that meant Cineform.

I'd be interested to know where the ability to fix the snafu-ed CFHD project trimming lies ... my guess is with Adobe rather than Cineform.

Clearly Adobe changes have hurt our development efforts. We don't expect 4.2 to be a big hurdle for us, but we will have to see how thing go.
