Can't Connect to M2T Tape Device at DVinfo.net

Why does this message always pop up in the log? How can I make it stop? I don't ever use any tape devices.

HDLink has designed as a HDV capture tool, but most of our current customers are not using it they way. Ignore it. HDLink will be replaced by a new tool more designed around today's camera systems.

Any chance in the future we will see deck-like controls for tapeless workflows allowing me to only convert portions of continuous clips?
