Updating guidelines:
With the same product type, Studio 1.0 to Studio 1.1, close your apps, download and install (over the old version.) If moving between CineForm products, e.g. NeoScene to Premium, or Premium to Professional, close your apps, uninstall your older CineForm tool, then download and install the new tool.

Re: Mac Betas for CineForm Studio, Premium and Professional

I had a little play this lunchtime with CSPremium, doing some color correction.

Positives:
White Balance picker is nice.
The ability to select and position Tool overlays is good.

Wishes:
Would be nice to size the waveform overlay even bigger or for it to be able to sit below the video picture.

Problems:
1. Scroll bars get in the way of the adjustment arrows. It's really hard to find the one pixel that will click on the arrows and hide the scroll bars.

2. In Full screen mode:
a) The menu item "Enter Full Screen" should change to "Exit full screen" when you are in FS.
b) The "Window > Show XX Controls" are all mapped to the wrong controls. Clicking on "Primaries" shows "White balance".
c) The "XX controls" also disapear when you click on the full screen video, and there is no way to bring them back.

3. The "manage..." database dropdown entry doesn't do anything. CSP isn't seeing database folders that I drop into the Cineform LUTs folder. First Light is picking them up ok.

4. Is the "Encode" curve setting working properly? Sometimes I switch between all the presets and the image doesn't change at all.

I hope it is ok to report the problems here. It is so much easier than filing support tickets.
