Give CineformRaw to a student film's editor?
Greetings,
Can people with just Adobe Premiere make good use of CineformRaw without a Cineform Premium Studio license? In our experiments, Adobe Premiere (and Sony Vegas) can't do good color correction on CineformRaw by itself. Instead, it seems that color correction must be done with Cineform First Light (which seems to require Cineform Premium Studio). This is all related to a student film. The footage is Blackmagic CinemaDNG converted to CineformRaw. Any help gratefully appreciated. - Carl Giant Step Film Ben Kadie Films |

Re: Give CineformRaw to a student film's editor?
to convert from BMC to CF raw you need a license of cineform studio pro or premium, the simple CF studio is only for mp4 movie to cineform, but to use full power of raw and full CC of raw you need a cineform studio pro to have not only firstlight or studio pro ability to edit, but also cf plugin to edit cc in premiere.
if you can own or rent a BMC you can buy a license of cf pro... or you not choose to use raw and this kind of camera... |
