approximately how big are cineForm hd files.(average) I'm using an Xh-A1
1min. (would be ?gb) 10min. (would be ?gb) hour? I'm thinking about buying Cineform

2.5 to 3 time DV or HDV. You do the math.

CineForm is a CQ codec, meaning that the filesize will alter depending on the complexity of the material you're encoding. My material varies drastically between a 6:1 to 13:1 compression ratio - but on most normal HD work it'll definitely be closer to the latter.
