Which Version For Intensity Injest?

Which Version of your software would be the most bang for the buck when it comes to Intesity Injest? I'm thinking Neo HD, or is that out yet? Otherwise Prospect HD seems good as well.

BTW I need to speak w/ one of you guys off board to discuss me selling this on a turnkey capture solution.

Could I get an email address to contact someone?

For Intensity the bottom-end $250 product offers the best bang for the buck because the Intensity is 8-bit 4:2:2 only. However, it's limited to 1280x720 and 1440x1080 capture so to get the full quality Intensity offers (ie full raster 1920x1080), Prospect HD is the better choice.

Richard,

What are the differences between the Neo product line and the Aspect, Prospect product lines?

Are there any? Is Neo just newer?

NEO offers capture and conversion tools only, Aspect HD and Prospect HD add direct Adobe suite integration with real-time effects and transitions. Adobe Premiere users should always go with either Aspect HD or Prospect HD. Vegas, AE only, and other NLE compositors should look at NEO.

NEO HDV 1440x1080 8-bit 4:2:2
NEO HD 1920x1080 10-bit 4:2:2
NEO 2K 2048x2048 12-bit 4:4:4

Intensity users will be most likely picking between NEO HDV (economy) and NEO HD (first class.) NEO HD's 1920x1080 support offers the best quality, resolution and square pixel convenience. Premiere/Intensity users will look at Aspect HD (economy) and Prospect HD (first class.)

Ah sorry, yes, good point.

The difference with Aspect/Prospect is that those products feature components for Adobe Premiere Pro that supremely speed up the editing experience in addition to everything you get with NEO. Think of Aspect as Neo HDV with this acceleration, and Prospect as Neo HD with the Premiere loveliness.

If you're looking for an Ingest-only solution, Neo HDV at $250 is the cheapest option, while Neo HD at $599 offers the full raster 1920x1080 capture facility.

Another advantage of Neo HD is that while Intensity is 8-bit 4:2:2 only, the CineForm encoder can convert to 10-bit 4:2:2 on the fly.

EDIT: Looks like David beat me to the punch :D
