Dear Mathieu,

Both record high quality images from HD-SDI sources using a variety of formats and frame rates. Both record I-Frame Only or Long-GOP, determined via a menu option.

The nanoFlash adds an HDMI input and an HDMI output.

The Flash XDR adds high-quality analog audio inputs and outputs, and a headphone jack.

The Flash XDR records 24-Bit / 48k audio via professional XLR inputs as well has audio embedded in the HD-SDI input stream.

The nanoFlash records embedded audio only. For many cameras, this means that the audio will be 16-Bit / 48K. On high end HD-SDI cameras, this could be 24-Bit / 48K audio.

In a future release, the Flash XDR will have Image Flip capability, while the nanoFlash will not.

The Flash XDR has four (4) CompactFlash card slots while the nanoFlash has two (2). Thus the Flash XDR can record for twice as long.

The Flash XDR is larger while the nanoFlash is more compact in size.

The Flash XDR, via a future extra cost upgrade, will be able to record 10-bit / 8-Bit 4:2:2 full uncompressed.
