Nano Audio Tracks
I assumed the nano would accept all four channels of audio via the HD-SDI stream from my HDX900 cameras. Apparently, that isn't the case. I read on another thread that eight channel audio support via SDI was planned... can't say I'm concerned about that, as I have no way to embed 8 channels. I sure would like to be able to record all four channels though, since the HDX900 can record all four discretely on tape.

Dear Steve,
At this time we can only record 2 channels of audio. 8 Channels will be in a future firmware release, a free upgrade.

Dan, do you know any kind of timeframe for when the multichannel audio recording would be? I somehow thought it was going to be in there initially also so I'm looking forward to that functionality.

Dear Robert,
Our 8-Channel audio is scheduled to be implemented along with "Image Flip". I hope you understand that I prefer not to provide dates too far out, as we want to be certain that we meet every date that we announce. In order to communicate the information that you have requested, I will say that this is expected very early in 2010.

That's fine, i'm just curious about a ballpark area of when we can expect it. Thanks.
