Battery Cradles are just a physical and electrical mating device for a battery.

When one inserts a battery into a camera, the battery goes into a battery cradle.

If you can, check out our footage in Final Cut Pro. There is a world of difference or use another pro NLE.

Yeah - VLC is not perfect, but very handy.

When I saw my test footage in FCP for the first time there was a big difference. 100mbs was particularly vivid, and I was blown away by the smoothness of movement.

I have a load of BP-950 Canon batteries (7.4v), so if I was to buy this adapter (V NF adapter [V NF 7.2V] - $68.00 : Dolgin Engineering, Camera Power Solutions) and attach it to my accessory plate then I will be able to run the nanoflash using my canon batteries?

Yes.

Just be aware that the BP-950 batteries are relatively large, the battery adapter (cradle) has to be larger than the battery, so figure out how you are going to mount it.
