Audio input

Hi, is there a way to capture/output audio from SDI 1 or SDI 2 or a mix of both, to the SDI B out put. I can see Audio out option either SDI 1 or Video Follow audio. Some times I need to do a Mix Record out, and have the audio from both cameras coming into SDI B.
I have the Apollo option.

Future update
1 - Also any chance of a H.264 with a 10mbps recording option ...?
2 - Full screen Audio meter Privew / and mixer Ability to mix audio
3 - 2nd HDMI input , convert mini HDMI Output to a input, giving us the option to do Dual 4K from 2 HDMI Cameras.

Other than that it's a pretty good recorder.

Re: Audio input

Dear Dale,

With our Apollo or Apollo Option you can record up to 32 audio channels.

I am sorry, but we do not have a way to mix the channels from SDI A and SDI B.

Additional equipment, including an audio mixer would be needed to do so.

For H.264, this is a possibility, but not likely at this time, sorry. You could take the HD-SDI B output an feed a H.264 encoder device.

I understand the need for a full screen audio level meter display, this would be very nice feature for us to add.

We used HDMI Mini as these connectors hold the HDMI cable more securely. Today, there are special full size HDMI cables that are secure. Converting to the full size HDMI cables requires a redesign of our circuit board and case.

There are great HDMI to HD-SDI converters that cost under $45 dollars, but these do not support 4K.

The AJA HA5 4K converter is more expensive, but can convert 4K HDMI to HD-SDI 3G Dual Link in 2SI mode. This mode is what is need if you want to record from two 4K HDMI cameras.

Please feel free to call me.

seven one nine -- nine three zero -- one three seven six (a USA phone number).

Respectfully,
