the grading sweet

Hi,

Last week I attended the premiere of a local indi feature and was talking to the DOP Ben Allen. I've worked with Ben before and he offered me a plugin package he's designed for FCP.

He emailed the software today and it looks pretty impressive - remembering I know bugger all about grading.

Just thought someone might find it a useful tool

Looks like Color won't be obsoleted any time soon.

Very interesting Paul! Although it obviously won't replace Apple's Color, I'd imagine it would be a very handy tool for DOP's working on no-budget films where they're in charge of the grade (as this filter "speak's their language") - which often seems to be the case. And at under AUD$200.00, it's not TOO expensive...

It's really aggressive color tweaking. It's what helps you get "The Look".

Here's the King Kong DVD featurette about Color Grading
