Problem after rendering footage
I'm doing a short film and have applied one of video copilot's film magic pro film looks to my footage and when I render it out and burn it to a DVD some of the cuts are blurred together and it makes it look really crappy.
We shot the footage on a XL-2 at 24p and I have tried some other ways to correct it and It does the same thing everytime! Any ideas? |

How exactly are you doing this? By the sounds of it you're taking the edited clip into AE (or whatever) and applying the effect. Is that right?
If so, the effect has some sort of frame blending (or frame blending is switched on in AE) and it's going across cuts. I don't know the particulars of this effect but generally such things are best applied on a clip by clip basis in your online edit. Or check frame blending isn't on somewhere and you might be fine. Or I could be talking nonsense. We shall see. |

I found it, frame blending was turned on, I think that was the problem, I haven't had a chance to actually render out the footage but it definitly looks like frame blending when the footage is rendered so I'll turn that off and hopefully that fixes teh problem. Thank you so much for responding!
