BAD After Effects crash at DVinfo.net

I'm on a new mac pro trying to continue work on a project. Whenever I open it AE crashes giving me this error:
"error: crash occurred while invoking effect plug-in CC Particle World"
I click "OK" and it's followed by another error: levels, glow, exposure, etc... -every effect I used in the project!
This AE CS3 on Snow Leopard, but I have seen this error before on a non-snow leopard mac pro too! I can't proceed, this is a bad one.
