visable waveforms while talking...
I have a mp3 that is the intro to a movie. how can I make the waveforms viewable while it's playing? so I'm looking to start my movie with the 42 sec speech and all I want the audience to see is the equalizer/wavelength equivalent of what the narrator is saying. then obviously the title and movie starts after that.

After Effects has an audio waveforms and audio bars effect. Just drop this onto a solid layer and direct it to the mp3 (probably a good idea to do a quick conversion from mp3 to wav or aiff first).
