Animated Title Backgrounds / Transition-In

Hello!

I hope here is the right place on the forum for that topic...:

On all those local U.S. newscasts they have animated backgrounds. Is there an easy way to produce such animated backgrounds amd those little lights which constantly move across the background?

How can I "simulate" a transition-in like they have on those network news-shows when a package starts? Text and background should be animated separately.

Please give me a few exampls how it is done. Thanks

Juergen,

if I understand you correctly, what you describe is often created using software such as Apple's Motion or Adobe's After Effects. This may not be suitable for live or broadcast applications, but if you are trying to create such backgrounds for video applications, I'd take a look at these tools.
