I want one of those for my camputer with sony vegas. who needs an expensive Avid DS Nitrits after that!

Unfortunately, a little digging confirmed what I had suspected, namely, that the vaunted floating-point performance figure -- 500 GFLOPs -- is for single-precision operations, although FireStream can perform double-precision FLOPs. NVIDIA offers a similar product, called Tesla.
