Vivitar HD camcorder announced
http://www.pocket-lint.co.uk/news/ne...launches.phtml
The Aiptek A-HD and the Go-HD has successors that that can do 1440x1080 30p and 1280x720 60p (http://dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=113601). Since Vivitar’s camera can only do 720 30p, the price would have to be no more than $100 if they plan on competing against Aiptek. Besides, the old A-HD can easily be fetched for around $130 at most reputable dealers and will most likely be around $100 by the time the DVR565HD is released. Now if theirs enough features or have a higher bit rate than the A-HD/GO-HD, they probably could sell it for around $200 to $250. Obviously the picture quality of these cheep HD camcorders aren’t as good as your average consumer HD camcorder but at least you will see better looking YouTube videos because a lot of its users are using cell phones. |
