JVC Releases a New Camcorder GZ-HM1
New JVC Camcorder 2010: GZ-HM1, GZ-HM550, GZ-HM320, GZ-HM300, GZ-HD620, GZ-HD500
http://newsroom.jvc.com/2010/01/jvc-...o-camera-line/ January 7, 2010 – This morning, JVC announced the GZ-HM550: a new high definition Everio camcorder with Bluetooth wireless connectivity. The Bluetooth capability may not offer any standalone benefits, but users that already own Bluetooth-enabled devices will be able to use them in conjunction with the HM550. The advantages of Bluetooth connectivity may not be as great as those offered with WiFi, but for those that own a number of Bluetooth devices, this will come as a welcome addition. This connectivity allows you to operate the camcorder remotely with a smartphone or connect with a GPS device to record location data. Last edited by Wolfgang Winne; January 8th, 2010 at 03:04 AM. |

I really like the specifications of the JVC GZ-HM1.
I am still looking for a nice compact camcorder for quick and dirt film work. I love my Canon XL-H1 but because of size and transport, I miss a lot of great film opportunities. |
