July 27 lafcpug meet: Agenda set

The next meeting of the lafcpug will be this Wednesday July 27 at the Gallery Theatre in Hollywood CA. So if you wish to attend, register now. Agenda is set.

Join us as we welcome Jon Chappell of Digital Rebellion who will show us his latest must have tools that keep Final Cut running efficient and trouble free. Also Todd Prives of visual effects giant Genarts will show us Sapphire Edge, the affordable and very easy to use suite of "looks" that was just announced at the London SuperMeet.

You already know what FCP-X CAN'T do. Time to see what it CAN do. Steve Kanter and been working with the app for a long time now and will show us the following:

1.) Demoing various media and file sharing capabilities on Lion and Lion Server. (I will probably “share” a project file using AirDrop)
2.) Advanced Trimming options
3.) Various FCP 7 workflow options translated into FCP-X speak, including “creating and using bins,” and “Creating projects with multiple s equences.” Plus much more if time allows.
