Atomos Ninja Inferno Announced - 4K 50/60p

Atomos announces what looks like a very affordable 4K 50/60p recorder.

Re: Atomos Ninja Inferno Announced - 4K 50/60p

I have to say, this might make me forgoe SDI just to get what could be one of the best deals for people using cameras that only output Log. Even using Cinelike D gamma on the GH5 there should be some benefit to full ProRes or DNxHR at 4K 60p.

This is where Sony kinda missed out on for the FS7MKII. They could have put full bandwidth 10bit 4:2:2 4K 60p over HDMI but likely did not do so. (All Sony cameras that support 4K 60p only output 8bit 4:2:0 in 4K 60 out the HDMI)

Looks like exactly what I have been waiting for, except for the lack of SDI. It looks like a full size HDMI port though. Perfect for the GH5.
