Creative Labs announces new audio cards
Linked here http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=3827
Creative has added 3 new E-Mu cards aimed at the higher end user. Signal to Noise ratios of 112 to 120dB are part of it. One of the highlights is the software bundle including Calkwalk SONAR LE, Steinberg Cubase LE, and Wavelab Lite. All of the limited version of the tools some here already use. It looks like Creative may actually try to compete with Avid/M-Audio finally. |

I got most of those programs, except cakewalk, with my old SB Audigy. They have been pretty good with their bundles.

Hmm, with the trend toward external firewire and/or usb based systems, this seems like a step backward. I can use my m-audio firewire 4/10 with either desktop or laptop. Maybe they are intended for studio use only? Good prices though.
