Open .WMV with FCP / .MOV? at DVinfo.net

Can you open a WMV file with Final Cut or QuickTime?

Im not at home so I can't try it. My gut says no.

Any ideas on getting WMV to QuickTime?

You can actually import WMV files into Final Cut Pro and Quicktime Pro for editing with Flip4Mac's WMV Player Pro. It's $49.

I use WMV Studio Pro so I can Play WMV, Import WMV. I can also go "the other way" and create WMV files for my clients.
