Trouble exporting from FCP4...

I'm trying to export a project from Final Cut Pro 4 to put onto DVD. I'm using the 'Export', 'Using Quick Time Conversion' option. After clicking through the options the little progress bar appears. It takes about an hour to get to 100% and then just stops - the progress bar stays on screen after it says it has reached 100% and that window remains on screen with the cursor as the spinning coloured ball. I've left it in this state for over an hour and it still hasn't stopped.

I've tried it three times now and it does the same thing...

This is how I used to do it when I was using FCE - should I be doing something differently now I'm using FCP4. The project is 25 mins in length.

What are you using as a DVD Authoring program? Can't it just take a DV
QuickTime file and encode that to MPEG-2 (what the DVD needs)? I'm
assuming you are using iMovie or some version of DVD Studio Pro?

Have you upgraded to QT 7 perhaps? This sounds like a bug I've read about when using it with FCP 4.

If you need to downgrade, see this thread:
